About the Role

As a Functional Assessor with Gaia Recruitment, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities and health conditions navigate the healthcare system. Your expertise will be instrumental in making informed decisions about their care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities and health conditions to evaluate their functional abilities and limitations.
  • Develop comprehensive reports that provide detailed information about an individual's condition, including their strengths and challenges.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure that individuals receive the best possible care and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the field of disability and health.
Requirements
  • One year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
  • Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other), without restriction or conditions, and with a valid PIN.
  • Excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and dig deeper.
  • The ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute.
  • Demonstrable experience with using IT and Microsoft Office, as well as remotely accessing systems such as MS Teams.
