As a Functional Assessor with Gaia Recruitment, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities and health conditions navigate the healthcare system. Your expertise will be instrumental in making informed decisions about their care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities and health conditions to evaluate their functional abilities and limitations.
- Develop comprehensive reports that provide detailed information about an individual's condition, including their strengths and challenges.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure that individuals receive the best possible care and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the field of disability and health.
- One year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
- Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, or other), without restriction or conditions, and with a valid PIN.
- Excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and dig deeper.
- The ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute.
- Demonstrable experience with using IT and Microsoft Office, as well as remotely accessing systems such as MS Teams.
- A competitive salary of £38,500 per annum (pro rata for part-time) plus a 5% retention bonus.
