We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Neonatal Staff Nurse to join our Special Care Baby Unit in Barnstaple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to special care, high dependency, and intensive care neonates without direct supervision.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing and wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Act as a role model, promoting high standards of care and demonstrating continuing professional development.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager and take charge of the ward.
  • Support junior members of the team and students, promoting their development and well-being.
  • Participate in regular performance appraisals and contribute to the development of the team.
