Support Worker Job in Llanmorlais

We are seeking experienced and respectful Support Workers to join the Dimensions team in Llanmorlais, Swansea.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time or part-time opportunity (minimum 22.5 hours per week) with flexible shifts available.
  • You will be working with two individuals, M and P, who have complex needs and require support with daily activities.

About M and P

M is a 34-year-old gentleman with a mild Learning Disability, autism, and ADHD. He enjoys physical activities and relaxing at home.

P is a 46-year-old gentleman with Smith-Magenis Syndrome, diabetes, and a hearing impediment. He communicates using words and signing.

Requirements

  • You will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of autism, ADHD, and anxiety.
  • A positive approach to risk taking and a good understanding of positive behaviour support are essential.
  • You will be required to work closely with colleagues, external partners, and families to provide support to M and P.
