Job Title: AFC Compliance Manager UK, Ireland

Job Summary:

As a key member of the Entain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the company meets its regulatory Anti-Financial Crime ('AFC') obligations in the UK, Ireland, and Jersey. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and upholding the company's reputation as a leading operator in the gaming industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the UK MLRO: Collaborate with the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) in AFC-related projects and other initiatives within the company.
  • Ongoing Monitoring: Continuously monitor the effectiveness of the AFC program and identify areas for improvement.
  • Data Presentation: Assist in preparing data and reports for the Financial Crime Committee meetings.
  • Audit Trail: Ensure a strong audit trail of metrics and reports is maintained.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvements within UK, Ireland, and Jersey processes, aligning with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
  • AML/CTF and Sanctions Risk: Understand and advise on how Entain manages its Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CTF) and sanctions risk across business areas, providing guidance to senior leaders and overseeing controls to mitigate these risks.
  • Risk and Compliance Culture: Foster a positive risk and compliance culture of FinCrime risk and controls by building long-term relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Industry Approach: Monitor industry AFC approaches and ensure the business benefits from identified learnings.
  • AFC Training: Manage the UK, Ireland, and Jersey-facing AFC training, including understanding gaps in training, monitoring effectiveness, and quality of training delivered.
  • Education and Training: Identify areas of weakness in education within the organization and assist in finding opportunities for AFC training.
  • Emerging Risks: Identify, understand, and communicate emerging risks within the business and business practices.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and ask the right questions to pinpoint key issues and provide challenge where necessary.
  • Regulatory Changes: Understand regulatory changes, guidance set by regulators, enforcement actions, and interpret how these can be applied internally to framework, methodologies, and controls.
  • Technology Enhancement: Support the UK MLRO in utilizing technology to enhance the AFC framework and tools.

Requirements:

  • UK AFC Laws and Regulations: In-depth knowledge and understanding of UK AFC laws and regulations, and related LCCP and industry guidance.
  • Experience in AFC: Experience within the gambling industry in a similar role within AFC and Customer Protection and Social Responsibility.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data effectively.
  • Communication and Networking: Confidence working with people at all levels and building relationships with senior leaders and their teams.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication and networking skills.
