Medical Imaging Specialist

At Genesis HealthCare System, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinic Medical Radiographer to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures on patients in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures on patients of all ages, using professional judgment and technical expertise.
- Evaluate exams for diagnostic quality and use professional judgment in the performance of services.
- Operate imaging equipment, including radiographic, fluoroscopic, mobile, and digital acquisition systems, to complete a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures.
- Follow radiation protection and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Effectively use computer systems to process, access, and distribute patient procedure information.
- Participate in clinical training of radiology students and quality assurance/quality control activities.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent) in the appropriate specialty (radiography) and licensed by the State of Ohio in Radiology.
- Competence in all diagnostic radiographic procedures performed at this facility.
- Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of electronic imaging and clinical information management software.
- Ability to manipulate technical equipment, including portable units, overhead tubes, monitors, and other related accessories.
