About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team on a bank contract basis. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging and reporting for a varied caseload within our department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality ultrasound imaging and reporting for a varied caseload within the department.
  • Work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail and excellent teamwork skills.

Requirements

  • BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and Postgraduate diploma / DMU in Medical Ultrasound.
  • Post-registration experience of general ultrasound imaging and reporting to include Gynae pelvis scanning.
  • Experience of managing an ultrasound quality assurance programme will also be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, with a good understanding of how to encourage and promote effective team work.

  • A competitive hourly rate, up to £30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

  • The opportunity to work on a bank contract basis, providing cover during periods of sickness, holidays or increased workload.
