Logistics Shift Manager Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Shift Manager to join our team at Blakemore Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock management and minimizing stock discrepancies
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results
  • High degree of numeracy and literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
