Location: Cambridge, UK

Salary:£42,000 - £48,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our client's Research and Development team based in the heart of Cambridge.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead your own projects and bring your mechanical designs to life through prototype development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement mechanical designs using SolidWorks
  2. Design and build prototypes using metalwork skills including fitting, welding, fabricating, and machining
  3. Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to identify and develop innovative solutions
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
