Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Process Simulation Expert to join our dynamic process simulation team. As a key member of our team, you will work on a variety of projects, including compressor surge analysis, holistic simulation, control optimization, and process safety time analysis. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality work, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, and collaborating with junior engineers to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver work under the supervision of a lead engineer, with the ability to lead projects independently.
  • Conduct a wide range of tasks, including compressor anti-surge control, process control systems liquid surge, HIPPS response, and heat exchanger tube rupture using dynamic process simulation tools.
  • Present work to clients through reports and presentations, and prepare technical notes and client reports.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality deliverables, adhering to relevant codes and standards, and internal procedures.
  • Contribute to winning bids for work and oversee junior engineers under your supervision.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree, honors or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar.
  • Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Chemical Engineers or equivalent, or close to attaining this chartership.
  • Experience using HYSYS Dynamics and/or Unisim Dynamics, PipeNet, and/or Wanda or similar liquid surge programs.
  • Strong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
