Senior Process Engineer - Dynamic Simulation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer with expertise in dynamic process simulation to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As a key member of our dynamic process simulation team, you will work on a variety of projects, delivering high-quality deliverables and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead dynamic simulation projects, working under the mentorship of our dynamic process simulation Subject Matter Expert.
  • Deliver work under the supervision of one of our lead engineers, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.
  • Oversee more junior engineers, providing guidance and support in process simulations, result analysis, and report preparation.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement process simulation solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or similar.
  • Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Chemical Engineers or equivalent, or close to attaining this chartership.
  • Proven experience using HYSYS Dynamics and/or Unisim Dynamics, as well as PipeNet and/or Wanda or similar liquid surge (water-hammer) programs.
  • Relevant experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition projects.
Desirable Skills:
  • Proms or Aspen Custom Modeler experience.
  • Software coding skills with VB.Net/VBA.
