Home Care Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated home care assistant to join our team and provide support to an elderly lady living in Northallerton. As a home care assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and companionship to enhance the client's daily life.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Personal care and hygiene assistance, including showering and dressing.
  2. Mobility support during the day, ensuring the client's safety and comfort.
  3. Preparation and serving of meals, as well as assisting with eating and drinking.
  4. Accompanying the client on leisure activities and medical appointments.
  5. Providing emotional support and engaging in conversation.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you may also be required to perform light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.

This position offers a varied schedule, with approximately 20 hours worked in one week and up to 46 hours in the following week. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy.
