**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated Family Liaison Officer to join our team at Severndale Specialist Academy. The successful candidate will work closely with families, promoting positive links between home and school, and providing support to strengthen the partnership.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with parents and carers, and have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and provide positive links between home and school
  • Work with families in their own homes to assess their needs and coordinate appropriate support
  • Record and manage family plans to ensure effective support

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred

**Benefits:**
