We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Pertemps Wolverhampton Commercial in Tewskbury.

This role involves working in a modern facility, 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am - 1.00pm on a Friday.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving deliveries, booking tools and consumables into an in-house inventory system, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring all items match delivery notes.
  • Book tools and consumables into an in-house inventory system, maintaining accurate records.
  • Match product codes from delivery notes to items received, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist engineers in booking out stock, ensuring that all transactions are recorded properly.
  • Produce and maintain necessary certificates for equipment and tools as required.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and stored in accordance with company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and engineers regarding stock availability and inquiries.
  • Address any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries or inventory promptly and professionally.
  • Keep the stores area organised and clean, ensuring safety and accessibility of stock.
  • Assist in regular stock audits.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a stores or inventory role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lift and move items as needed.

Salary Estimate: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
