We are urgently recruiting for freelance interpreters to work in various settings across the UK, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation and other public and private organisations. Established in 2001, Language Empire provides professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors.

As a Freelance Interpreter with Language Empire, you will be working on a self-employed basis, providing high-quality interpretation services to clients in need of language support. Your role will involve listening to, understanding and reproducing content from one language to another with 100% accuracy.

The estimated salary range for this position is £20-£35 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications. If you are fluent in English and another language, have a strong understanding of the subject matter and can communicate effectively, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and another language
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must be aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered or Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
