About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our team at our bespoke production site in East Peterborough. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective running of our busy manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planned preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Reacting to breakdowns and performing repairs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Welding and fabrication to support plant operations
  • Mechanical strip and rebuild of equipment to maintain optimal performance
  • Occasional operation of plant machinery to support production needs
Requirements
  • Experience with mechanical strip and rebuild
  • Experience with welding and fabrication
  • Ability to follow strict health and safety procedures
  • Willingness to work within a small engineering team
  • Recognized engineering qualifications (Apprenticeship/Welding)
