The Department of Geography and Environment at LSE seeks a highly skilled Fellow in Energy Economics and Policy to join its team.

This fixed-term appointment is for two years with the potential to extend for a further year subject to funding. The start date is September 2025.

You will be based within the Department of Geography and Environment, as part of a growing team of researchers working on the economics of energy and environment.

Your main responsibility will be to develop your own research agenda within this team and as part of the LSE/newcleo partnership. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to teaching initiatives on energy economics and policy within the Department.

To be eligible for this role, you should have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in economics, environmental/resource economics, energy economics or a closely related field by the post start date.
