At Yorwaste Ltd, we are seeking a motivated and solutions-focused individual to join our team as an IT Help Desk Apprentice. This exciting role involves providing exceptional IT support to the team as the first point of contact for all technical queries and issues. You will work closely with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements, develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our technology infrastructure, and troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and professionally.

Job Requirements
  • A competitive salary of £25,383 per year
  • Sociable hours, working Monday to Friday, usually 8:30am until 5:00pm
  • 20 days' annual leave per year (plus bank holidays)
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • GCSEs in English (Grade 5 / C, or above), Maths (Grade 4 / C, or above), plus an IT subject
  • A UK Drivers Licence, with the ability to travel to our sites in North Yorkshire
  • Over the age of 16, with valid residency status and the right to work in the UK

We offer 1 to 1 support and coaching with an allocated tutor, virtual e-learning through Smart Classroom, and the opportunity to apply learning straight into the workplace to gain practical experience.
