Job Title: Junior Healthcare Data Analyst
Location: London, Staines, or Salford Quays
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 – 35,000
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior Healthcare Data Analyst to join our team in Healthcare Analytics. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to design and deliver robust and effective analytic solutions and projects to identify areas of inefficiency, help design pathway solutions, and estimate the value at stake for our transformation activities to enable data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and delivery of analytic solutions and projects to identify areas of inefficiency and estimate the value at stake for our transformation activities.
- Engage with stakeholders to design and develop MI which will support data-driven decision making.
- Assess in-life performance of all our healthcare improvement initiatives and report that through internal performance tracking processes.
- Substantiate the benefits of our healthcare improvement initiatives so that the business can then market the healthcare advantages Bupa can offer to our customers.
Requirements:
- Newly qualified graduate with a track record of wanting to work in healthcare and data analytics.
- At least a bachelor's degree in a numerical or analytical related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Motivated to learn and stretch beyond comfort zone.
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Technical skills:
- Experience with statistical packages and software e.g. R and/or SAS, and SQL (preferred).
- Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint (desirable).
- Experience in developing and using statistical models to analyse data and draw conclusions. (preferred).
- Experience using visualisation software such as PowerBI, Tableau and/or R-Markdown. (desirable).
- Communication skills:
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to provide input into, feedback on, and follow a project schedule.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
