Management Information Reporting Analyst

Cantello Tayler Recruitment is seeking a skilled Management Information Reporting Analyst to join a dynamic organization in Staines. This role involves designing and implementing automated processes to deliver reports for various stakeholders within the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a comprehensive 'quality score' scorecard to identify strengths and areas for improvement within the business.
  • Develop and run specific queries using raw data to provide accurate information for stakeholders.
  • Compare actual financial data with budgeted amounts to ensure departments are within their spending limits.
  • Assist the finance team in producing high-quality reports for board packs and meetings.
  • Collaborate with finance to automate management account information using Power BI, particularly for large data volumes.
  • Analyze data volumes and comparisons to highlight market trends and assist with forecasting.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and include them in detailed reporting for board and senior management review.
  • Provide expert advice on data analysis and Power BI usage to other employees.
Requirements:
  • Degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a finance or reporting role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the private medical insurance industry is essential for this role.
  • Proven expertise in working with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Experience in building data models.
  • Knowledge of basic business principles and the importance of meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work in a flexible environment with high pressure during the financial year.
