We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our team in a fixed-term capacity until February 2025, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time, permanent role based on performance evaluations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct testing and analysis of products to meet customer and industry standards.
- Ensure packaging adherence to specifications.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform calibration audits.
- Conduct sensory analyses on finished products.
- Place non-conforming products on hold as needed.
- Conduct environmental and effluent analysis.
- Uphold impeccable hygiene standards across all production areas.
- Collect microbiological samples and prepare them in our on-site laboratory.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a high-speed manufacturing environment in the food or beverage laboratory sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills, the capability to work autonomously, and a keen attention to detail.
Benefits- Competitive salary package totalling £32, comprising a basic salary of £27,378 p/a and a shift allowance of £5.
