About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote the well-being and happiness of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organise fundraising events and activities
  • Provide support and guidance to residents to help them socialise and engage with others
  • Work closely with the care home team to ensure seamless delivery of activities and events
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and IT skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
