About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing activities that promote the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement activity programs that promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation
  • Collaborate with other care staff to ensure that activities are integrated into the overall care plan for each resident
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations to access resources and opportunities for our residents
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in a care or community setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties
  • Basic IT skills, with the ability to use software applications and digital tools to support activity planning and delivery
