About the Role

We're looking for a talented Assistant Manager to join our team at Loungers. As a key member of our management team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the high standards that make our Lounges so special.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high standards across the team.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the Lounge, including rotas, team engagement, and customer feedback.
  • Drive sales, team retention, training, and customer service initiatives to ensure the Lounge remains a top destination for the local community.
  • Oversee the implementation of best practices in sales building, sales and labour forecasts, paperwork and reporting, recruitment and HR, and NPS.

Requirements
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor in a restaurant, bar, cafe, or coffee shop environment.
  • Proven track record of working in a bar environment with serving freshly made food and drinks preparation.
  • Natural talent and passion for hospitality and exceptional people management skills.
  • Extremely driven and relentless at overcoming challenges or obstacles.
  • Good literacy skills and excellent attention to detail to support reporting on KPIs.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Self-motivator working at pace with limited supervision while adhering to pressure and timescales.
