Sales Office Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Sales Office Administrator to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all administrative tasks within the Sales Office.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently to ensure seamless operations
  • Manage the shared inbox, keeping it up-to-date and responding promptly to customer inquiries
  • Provide customers with quotations and follow up on orders, addressing any issues and escalating when necessary
  • Arrange carrier collections and create labels for warehouse requirements
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customers' businesses to deliver exceptional service and support
  • Assist with incoming calls and emails, providing product guidance and redirecting customers as needed
  • Liaise with internal teams, such as warehouse and technical, to ensure a smooth process for customers
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using Sage and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role is desirable but not essential

  • Competitive salary: £25,000
  • Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm, Friday 8:30am - 4pm
  • Permanent, full-time position
