About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developer Advocate to join our team at Ripple. As a key member of our Developer Relations team, you will play a crucial role in engaging, supporting, and growing the global XRP community of developers around the XRP Ledger.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead initiatives to foster community engagement, support, and growth around the XRP Ledger.
  • Act as a technical advisor and advocate for developers and startups participating in Ripple's developer funding programs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to early-stage projects and startups.
  • Develop and lead technical content for program curriculums and act as an internal subject matter expert for projects on developing on the XRPL.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build strong bi-directional feedback loops and influence roadmaps.
  • Represent Ripple at conferences, meetups, and events to educate users about the XRPL and its use cases.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a developer, developer manager, developer advisor, or developer relations role.
  • 5+ years of experience in fast-paced environments within technology, startups, and entrepreneurship.
  • Competency in programming in Python, Java, or Javascript.
  • Experience with APIs, developer communities, open-source, and developer ecosystems.
  • Experience advising startups through product and technical challenges.
  • Understanding and engagement within the venture and startup ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrency, or blockchain technology ecosystem.
