Job Title: SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs.

Job Type:

This is a part-time, temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.

Salary:

The hourly rate for this position is £20-£30, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the unique needs of students with SEN.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and progress.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, making adjustments to teaching strategies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure seamless support.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
  • Proven experience working with students with SEN.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role.

Working Conditions:
  • Part-time hours, with flexibility to work on a temporary basis.
  • May require travel to different educational settings within the Greater London area.
  • Collaboration with other educators and professionals to support students' holistic development.
