We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel.
Job Type:This is a part-time, temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
Salary:The hourly rate for this role is between £20-£30, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
Job Duties:- Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each student.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons, using a range of strategies to enhance students' understanding and progress.
- Regularly monitor and assess students' progress, making adjustments to teaching strategies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other educational professionals, keeping them informed of students' progress and support needs.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
- Demonstrated experience working with students with SEN, with a strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field is required for this role.Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working as an SEN Tutor or in a similar role is necessary for this position.Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN policies and procedures, with the ability to create and implement individualised education plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with patience and empathy when working with students with SEN.
- Part-time hours, with the possibility of travel to different educational settings within the Greater London area.
- Collaboration with other educators and professionals to support students' holistic development.
