About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Advisor to join our team at HomeSense. As a Loss Prevention Advisor, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers, associates, and assets from loss and theft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze incidents of loss and theft to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Work closely with store teams to educate and train associates on loss prevention best practices and protocols.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement and other external partners to ensure effective conflict resolution and loss awareness.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas of vulnerability and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to develop and implement strategies to reduce shrink and improve asset protection.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail security environment, preferably in a loss prevention or asset protection role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with store teams, law enforcement, and other external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and associate engagement.
  • Knowledge of retail security practices and procedures, including loss prevention techniques and protocols.
