About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Rental Income team as a Customer Service Representative. This is a hybrid role, combining office-based and home working, and will be the first point of contact for residents' enquiries regarding current and former tenant rent and arrears.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their enquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and advise residents on suitable avenues of support to maximise their income, including financial and other means.
  • Work closely with the team to maintain tenancies and ensure residents receive the support they need.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, stakeholders, and colleagues to achieve the team's objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a similar role or with transferable skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of housing and tenancy management, or a willingness to learn.
