Management Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our dynamic team in Shaftesbury. As a key member of the Finance Department, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our luxury food and hamper business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely month-end and year-end journal adjustments.
  • Manage the collation and interpretation of financial reports to ensure data-driven insights.
  • Ensure the accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet reconciliation, and cash flow reporting.
  • Identify key trends and variances from budget to inform strategic planning.
  • Support the Finance Director in audits and compliance to maintain financial integrity.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to senior management to drive business growth.
  • Create ad-hoc reports and streamline finance processes to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a management accountant role with a strong track record of financial planning and analysis.
  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with expertise in budget setting, monitoring, and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
