Plant and Equipment Maintenance Engineer

Hillbrush, a renowned family-owned manufacturing company with a rich history spanning over 100 years, is seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer to join its Tool Room, Plant and Equipment Maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and support manufacturing and engineering operations by addressing mechanical issues and ensuring the smooth running of plant, production equipment, and machinery.
  • Perform general repairs and maintenance of equipment and plant machinery, including assisting with planned and preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and respond promptly to breakdowns, identifying and repairing faulty equipment and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and collaborate with the facilities team on building maintenance and engineering tasks.
  • Conduct welding operations safely and competently.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, plant and equipment maintenance.
  • Competence in diagnosing mechanical faults and performing repairs.
  • Experience with planned and preventative maintenance.
  • Strong welding skills across various techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work flexibly and support additional engineering-related tasks as required.
