Early Childhood Education Specialist Sheffield

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Education Specialist to lead our preschool room in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational environment for children aged 0-5 years.
Job Summary:- Lead daily activities in the preschool room
- Manage staff and resources effectively
- Implement continuous improvements to the learning environment
- Collaborate with management to maintain high standards and contribute to staff development
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool room, ensuring a stimulating and nurturing environment for our young students.
- Lead and manage daily activities, including lesson planning and implementation
- Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Foster child-led learning and encourage cognitive development
As a Room Leader, you will also be responsible for managing staff and resources effectively.
- Evaluate and improve staff performance, providing coaching and guidance when needed
- Maintain open communication with colleagues and ensure a positive working environment
To be successful in this role, you must possess a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare and at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience in a childcare setting, including senior responsibilities.
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- Have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant childcare role with senior responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about early childhood education and possesses excellent leadership skills.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with young children
- Be able to effectively communicate and relate to both children and colleagues
