Job Title: AI System Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled AI System Architect to join our team at ID-ware, a leading provider of advanced identity management solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving global innovation in digital identity management solutions.

Job Description

Company Overview: ID-ware is an IT & Security services provider that specializes in supporting Government Departments, Agencies, and CNI. We recently became part of the ID-ware Group, a leading provider of advanced identity management solutions, committed to shaping the future of secure digital interactions.

Position Overview: The Technical Architect will work closely with the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) on smartcard engineering projects using custom MIFARE DESFire EV2/EV3 token architecture and setting/validating smartcard reader firmware standards. The role will also involve working on multiple access control system designs and deployments, supporting user data migration activities, deployment of site encryption keys and ensuring compliance to predefined standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CTO on smartcard engineering projects using custom MIFARE DESFire EV2/EV3 token architecture.
  • Set standards for, and validate vendor implementation of, reader firmware.
  • Work on multiple access control system designs and deployments, supporting user data migration activities, deployment of site encryption keys and ensuring compliance to predefined standards.
  • Act as a technical support to the CTO in client-facing meetings and communications.
  • Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of smartcard and access control systems.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for technical support.

Requirements:

  • Experience with smartcard engineering and access control systems.
  • Experience in client-facing technical support role.
  • Coding in C at a low level with ARM processors is a bonus.
