Job Title: Store Operations Manager

About the Role:

As a Store Operations Manager at Poundland, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth. Your primary objective will be to create a positive and productive work environment, ensuring that all store operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
• Develop and implement effective store operations strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and implement company policies
• Manage store inventory, including ordering and receiving stock, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven leadership and management experience in a retail environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Protect the Pounds & Euros:

• Ensure all products are priced, merchandised, and maintained to ensure the store runs smoothly
• Lead daily huddles to ensure commercial objectives, including sales, service, and shrink, are communicated and achieved

• Work alongside the Store Manager to help support the team around you
