About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide expert communication support and therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • To assess and treat adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders
  • To develop and implement effective communication plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • To deliver high-quality training sessions to patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • SLT qualification recognised by RCSLT leading to a licence to practice
  • HCPC registration
  • Extensive postgraduate experience of working in clinical areas with adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders
  • Postgraduate qualifications and training in dysphagia
