About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Economic Analyst to join our team at William Hill PLC. As a key member of our marketing intelligence team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing next-generation marketing intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain econometric models for various brands and markets, ensuring accurate and reliable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality marketing intelligence solutions.
  • Support the management team in cultivating a positive culture and environment for first-class econometrics and team growth.
  • Drive marketing efficiency and improvements through optimization and scenario planning.
  • Participate in building and maintaining marketing optimization tools, interactive dashboards, and process automation.
Requirements
  • Advanced experience in a media agency, consultancy, or in-house from a relevant industry, with a numerate degree such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, as well as advanced Excel skills for modeling, data processing, and post-processing analysis.
  • Experience leading econometric projects for three years, with comfort in mentoring junior team members and managing stakeholders.
  • A working understanding of the media planning and buying landscape and how Marketing Mixed Modelling (MMM) can drive effective marketing plans.
