We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school near Woking.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs, and will be knowledgeable about mental health and restorative practices.

As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide support and guidance to students, and will be instrumental in building strong relationships and promoting a positive learning environment.

The school offers excellent on-site training and support, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated and passionate team of professionals.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to students with SEMH needs
  • Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Supporting the teaching staff in delivering lessons and activities
  • Contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment

We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students, and are looking for a candidate who shares our values and is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

Salary: £85-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only.
