We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our care team as a Care Coordinator Lead at The Talent Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience working in a care setting, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care that promotes independence and dignity. They will also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work well as part of a dedicated team, and a caring and positive attitude.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £13.25 per hour, based on the location and requirements of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and needs of the residents in a way that promotes independence and dignity.
  • Making beds, tidying rooms, and performing any light cleaning duties as required.
  • Provision of the highest standards of care of the residents and maintaining the Care Standards.
  • Inputting daily records in the computerised care plans for a given number of the residents.
  • Seeking medical advice as appropriate for the residents.
  • Administering medication as prescribed.
  • Ensuring implementation of all Policies and Procedures throughout the home.
  • Assisting with the proper accounting of all petty cash and resident's monies.
  • Attending all meetings and training as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in a care environment is essential.
  • Experience working with people living with Dementia preferred but not essential.
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in care or willing to complete is essential.
  • Up to date mandatory training.
  • First Aid Course or willing to learn.
  • Knowledge of elderly health-related issues.
  • Previous staff management experience is an advantage but not essential.
