Job Description

We are recruiting a Compliance Specialist - Renewable Energy to join our team at Recurrent Energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with national and local regulations, conducting regular site inspections and audits, and maintaining accurate records of safety inspections and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain H&S policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with national and local regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and near misses, and ensure all documentation is up to date.
  • Ensure the business is legally compliant with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation.
  • Monitor Health and Safety performance, statistics, metrics, trends, and compliance status to senior management.
  • Establish, organize, and undertake safety tours, inspections, and audit programme.
  • Manage the Recurrent Energy PQQ process and be familiar with PAS91 when new contractors are engaged by Recurrent Energy.
  • Assist other Recurrent Energy departments to identify H&S and technical competency requirements.
  • Provide Health and Safety advice in the unlikely event of incidents, near misses and/or accidents.
