About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Section Engineer to join our dynamic team at BAM Nuttall. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of site engineers, chainpersons, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on site safety, environmental, and quality performance to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Develop and implement setting out methods and techniques to ensure accurate and efficient construction.
  • Prepare and review 4-weekly programmes, progress reports, and other documentation to ensure project visibility and control.
  • Conduct risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of project progress, resources, and other relevant information.
Requirements
  • Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent NVQ Level.
  • CSCS Level - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager.
  • SSSTS.
  • Successful experience at site engineer level.
  • Qualified to ICE Technician or Incorporated (preferred) level or equivalent.
