Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lakefields Neurological Centre in Chigwell. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality specialist psychological interventions to patients with a range of neurological conditions, including Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Progressive Neurological Conditions (PNC), Spinal Injury, and Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDOC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake high-quality specialist psychological interventions, on a referral basis
  • Work therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertaking assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods
  • Support colleagues from other professions to develop the service
  • Formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological interventions
  • Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of psychological practice
  • Maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice, in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines, and Company Policies and Procedures

Requirements

  • BPS recognised psychology degrees and Chartered Psychologist status
  • Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice
  • Experience of applying psychological knowledge to neurological services
  • Experience working with clients with neurocognitive deficits
  • Previous experience of conducting research and project working
