We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day management and delivery of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in the day-to-day control of the site, management and delivery of project works.
  • Manage and deliver project works, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure that project deadlines are met.
  • Develop and maintain detailed plans, ensuring that material, resource, and supply chain requirements are met.
  • Monitor and manage sub-contractors, including contractor attendance and progress, to ensure that contractual arrangements are achieved.
  • Ensure that all site paperwork is maintained, and that the site is kept clean and presented to a high standard.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and ensure that the safety and welfare of the general public, staff, and supply chain are maintained.

Requirements

  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold inspection qualification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience in construction project management.
