Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day delivery of site-based projects or remedial work.
  • Contribute to the control and delivery of construction projects to meet customer specifications (safety, quality, time, etc.).
  • Deputise for the Site Manager as required, motivating, supporting, and managing the site-based team to ensure health, safety, and environmental performance standards are achieved.
  • Strive to achieve program and quality requirements while promoting customer relationships to the site-based team.

Requirements:

  • CSCS Card.
  • Valid SMSTS Certificate.
  • Experience working on new build projects.
  • Experience in the management of Health and Safety.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar.
  • Valid Scaffold Inspection certificate.
  • Valid LOLER certificate.
  • Qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Project, and Asta Team plan.
  • Valid First Aid at Work Certificate.
  • Managing all aspects of the build process.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety obligations and building legislation.
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Site Manager. You will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in the delivery of site-based projects or remedial work. You will contribute to the control and delivery of construction projects to meet customer specifications (safety, quality, time, etc.).

You will deputise for the Site Manager as required, motivating, supporting, and managing the site-based team to ensure health, safety, and environmental performance standards are achieved. You will strive to achieve program and quality requirements while promoting customer relationships to the site-based team.

We are looking for someone who is a skilled and experienced construction professional with a passion for site management. You will have a CSCS Card, valid SMSTS Certificate, experience working on new build projects, and experience in the management of Health and Safety.

We also require desirable qualifications such as an NVQ Level 3-4 BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar, valid Scaffold Inspection certificate, valid LOLER certificate, qualified to the required CIOB Grade applicable at the time in accordance with group policy, good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Project, and Asta Team plan, valid First Aid at Work Certificate, managing all aspects of the build process, and up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety obligations and building legislation.
