Electrical Technician Role

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the position of Electrical/Mechanical Technician in our Cambridge office.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Read, comprehend, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and electrical code specifications to assemble equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and electrical circuits and electrical/mechanical assemblies.
  3. Test and maintain products on behalf of R&D from time to time providing feedback to help develop and improve new and existing product range.
  4. Become familiar with, uphold and adhere to, processes, policies, and procedures.
  5. Work towards commissioning products to required processes, safety, and quality standards, undertaking testing and adjustments and completing signing-off processes.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering qualification, 18th Edition and ideally higher level Electrical or Mechanical Engineering plus technical knowledge and practical experience.
  • Experience working with various PLC systems.
  • Broad base of engineering skills, electrical, mechanical, and electronic.
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
