About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Charity People. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying funding opportunities, developing tender preparation strategies, and overseeing quality tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a long-term business development pipeline to enhance the organisation's competitive standing
  • Identify areas for development and upgrade systems/processes to improve tender submission quality
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather local intelligence and inform tender submissions
  • Foster partnerships with external organisations to support business growth
Requirements
  • Proven track-record in producing high-quality tender submissions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong research skills and ability to learn/know an organisation's unique features
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
