Job Description

We are looking for an experienced EMC and TEMPEST Engineer Lead to join our team at Ultra Electronics Group. The successful candidate will have extensive experience of EMC and TEMPEST requirements and testing, as well as a strong understanding of engineering processes.

About the Role

The EMC and TEMPEST Engineer Lead will be responsible for guiding the design and testing of one or more projects simultaneously within the Cyber UK Operational Business Unit. This includes reviewing test and control plans, visiting test houses during testing, and resolving any issues that arise.

You will also work constructively with other project team members, actively contributing to design reviews to ensure a collaborative working environment. Additionally, you will manage security of information as defined in the Security manual to ensure compliance with Government regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Review relevant test and control plans to ensure products will be adequately tested for EMC and TEMPEST.
  • Visit test houses during testing and resolve any issues.
  • Work constructively with other project team members, actively contributing to design reviews.
  • Manage security of information as defined in the Security manual.
