Part-time Hospital Pharmacist Role

Hunter Gatherer AHP is seeking a part-time Band 6/7 locum ward-based Pharmacist to join our team in a hospital service in the Birmingham area. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Pharmacist to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing services
  • Work in a predominantly ward-based setting with minimal dispensary cover needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Some prior community pharmacy experience
  • Keen to work within the NHS and learn quickly
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Arrangements:

  • 2-3 days per week, 9am-5.30pm (1 hour lunch)
  • No on-call or weekend working required

About the Role:

This is a short-term post for 6 months, providing an opportunity to gain experience in a hospital setting. The service is a small community hospital located in the Birmingham area, and we are looking for a motivated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team.
