Part-time Hospital Pharmacist Opportunity

Hunter Gatherer AHP is seeking a skilled and experienced Part-time Hospital Pharmacist to join our team in a Band 6/7 locum ward-based Pharmacist opportunity with a hospital service in the Birmingham area. This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, covering various physical health wards and completing clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover various physical health wards, including Renal, Medical, Surgical, and Orthopaedic
- Complete clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing
- Work in a predominantly ward-based post with minimal dispensary cover needed
Requirements:
- Some prior community pharmacy experience
- Keen to work within the NHS and learn quickly
Working Pattern:
- 9am - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch) 2-3 days per week
- No on-call or weekend working needed
About the Role:
This is a short-term post for 6 months, providing an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist to gain experience in a hospital setting. The service is a small community hospital located in the Birmingham area, and the role will be to cover the various physical health wards and complete clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing.
