About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our service delivery, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery Management: Responsible for the dynamic allocation of work to vehicles/routes, ensuring that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Communication: Proactively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and the wider Veolia team to provide status updates and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day.
  • Debrief and Reporting: Complete the debrief process within the allocated time and report any necessary action or updates as required.
  • Workforce Engagement: Maintain an engaged workforce by being the face-to-face contact with our drivers on a daily basis, supporting drivers to act on issues identified on the rounds.
  • Safety and Compliance: Report all safety concerns or container damage via close call reporting and encourage 'stop the job' if it is deemed unsafe to continue in line with company operating procedures and processes.
  • Veolia Compliance: Ensure Veolia legal compliance on site, including WTD and transport compliance.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience operating within a similar industry; waste/transport/logistics.
  • Transport Compliance: Able to demonstrate an understanding of transport compliance and WTD.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, communicating with people of all levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to organize a busy workload and operate at a fast pace.
  • IT Skills: Experienced IT skills, MS Office 2000 and the ability to adapt to Google.
