We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Consultant to join our team at Mercer (UK) Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality actuarial services to our clients, specializing in complex UK pension solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct complex actuarial calculations and provide expert advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, ensuring our clients receive the best possible advice.
  • Provide training and support to junior colleagues, promoting their professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Qualified or part-qualified actuary with a strong understanding of UK Defined Benefit pension schemes.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and critical thinking skills, with a good understanding of actuarial approaches for pensions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
